The article considers small businesses of the agricultural sector of the economy using a country approach. Based on an analysis of economic indicators, as well as regulatory legal acts, the authors identified the main characteristics of state support for small businesses in the agricultural sector of the economy in the context of the EAEU member states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia). Based on an analysis of the main mechanisms of state support for agribusiness, the authors developed recommendations for the formation of a unified conceptual model for the provision of support measures at the state level. Taking into account the current terminology enshrined in the regulatory legal acts of the EAEU countries, the authors proposed to unify the conceptual-categorical apparatus for eliminating non-docking and discrepancies.
