В статье рассматривается вопрос совместной реализации процедур государственной, профессионально-общественной аккредитации и сертификации квалификаций в системе оценки качества высшего образования России. Государственная и общественная аккредитация вузов существует в большинстве стран мира, на основе нее выстраиваются международные рейтинги эффективности и престижности учебных заведений. Сертификация профессиональных компетенций явление не новое, но как инструмент оценки качества высшего образования учитывает не только результат формального (определенного государственной системой) обучения, но и параллельно реализуемого неформального и спонтанного, которые не учитываются в рамках государственной аккредитации. В заключении обосновано осуществление аккредитации вузов совместно с сертификацией квалификаций.
