The article discusses current issues of state registration of real estate related to the impossibility of making purchase and sale transactions with land plots for which there is no information about the location of borders. It is established that the values of the average square error in determining the coordinates of the characteristic points of the boundaries and the marginal error in determining the area of the land plot are no less important indicators along with the coordinates, since their absence may indicate the incorrectness of the EGRN data, and lead to adverse consequences in the case of land disputes. Thus, the need to align cadastral information in terms of describing the location of boundaries and land areas is justified. As a result of the analysis of information about land plots obtained through the portal «National Spatial Data System» and extracts from the Unified State Register of Real Estate, inconsistencies in the data of information resources were revealed and key parameters of the location of the boundaries and areas of land plots were determined. Based on the analysis of the values of the established key parameters, proposals have been developed to determine the type of cadastral work in order to bring the information from the Unified State Register of Real Estate into line.
