Abstract (English):
In the conditions of formation of an innovative type of economy, the role of innovations in higher education is especially growing. This gives a special relevance to the problem of evaluating the level of development of the innovative environment of universities. In this article the authors attempt a comparative analysis of different interpretations of the concept «innovative environment of the University» and methods of its evaluation.

In the conditions of formation of an innovative type of economy, the role of innovations in higher education is especially growing.
