In the article, based on the fundamental works of erosion scientists and geographers, we made an attempt to consider the geographic background and features of soil erosion, and regional measures to combat it in the Far Eastern region of Russia, in particular the Amuro-Zee-Bureya interfluve of the Amur Region. In these conditions, the priority task of rational land use and protection is land management, which must be anti-erosion, so that erosion control is maximally successful as a result of the implementation of the organic link between erosion control measures and regional agricultural systems. The article shows that there is a need for production and experimental checks and studies, as well as further research to justify the proposed anti-erosion protection techniques.
