The article considers the process of development of financial management, caused by the introduction of strategic management in it. The processes associated with the application of the theory of values and stakeholder theory are analyzed. The conclusion is made that the application of value-oriented methods in management, the complication of calculation models, the construction of indicators and combinations of meters, their active introduction into the practice of making managerial decisions becomes an extremely time-consuming process that requires the application of business intelligence systems.
