The article discusses the need, order, features of making information about the boundaries of settlements, the boundaries of territorial zones in the USRN. The legal aspects that impede the immediate sending of documents describing the location of the boundaries of settlements and the boundaries of territorial zones to the rights registration authority are identified. Formulated proposals for the alignment of information of the USRN and urban planning documentation of municipalities.
