The article presents a comparative analysis of the development of e-commerce in Russia and China. China, with its vast population and developed digital infrastructure, occupies leading positions globally in terms of B2C internet purchases volume. Russia, on the other hand, ranks ninth. The country is experiencing a rapid growth in interest in online purchases, especially among the youth. During the study, the authors analyze the dynamics of online sales from 2012 to 2022, popular platforms, and the extent of e-commerce penetration into consumers' daily lives. The article also emphasizes that logistics play a crucial role in all of e-commerce and discusses delivery services. The research results enable the identification of similarities and differences in the development of e-commerce in Russia and China.
