The analysis of spatial patterns of exposure of various regions of the Kyrgyz Republic to natural hazards made it possible to identify the most significant hazards according to the severity of socio-economic and geo-ecological consequences and rank the regions of the republic, dividing them into 4 categories according to exposure to various natural hazards: insignificant, weak, noticeable, significant. Most of the territory of the republic belongs to territories with significant and noticeable exposure to natural hazards, the development of which depends mainly on the nature of the terrain.
