Abstract (English):
The article provides a brief analysis of the telecommunications market, including main numerical characteristics of the market, key players and modern trends of the industry. To analyze the risks of PAO «VimpelCom», was conducted a brief description of the organization and was carried out a qualitative risk analysis through use of a «rose» of risks and a risk matrix. In addition, there were proposed directions of actions by taking into account the possible level of risks consequences. The results of this research are practically significant for the enterprises in telecommunications industry for the analysis and management of their risks.
