In work the importance of search systems for search of the scientific information is opened. The most important ones are highlighted - Google Scholar, CiteSeerX, Microsoft Academic. The most interesting electronic libraries are considered: JSTOR, Taylor & Francis, Oxford University Press, Project MUSE, SAGE Journals, Cambridge University Press, Directory of Open Access Journals.
