The current agricultural land management system needs comprehensive, timely, systematic information, which is the basis for land management. In this regard, it is necessary to improve the land administration system at all levels of the regional agro-industrial complex of the country (hereinafter - the agro-industrial complex). The article defines the effectiveness of information support for agricultural land use; a monitoring system for agricultural land has been developed with the aim of forming a system for information support for agricultural land use; it is shown that it is necessary to take into account the social characteristics and economic peculiarities of the district when forming the system of information support for agricultural land use; the importance of inter-agency exchange of information on agricultural land use is demonstrated; developed recommendations on the organization of inter-agency exchange of information on agricultural land use.
