Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents the results of research of the impact of the Kerch Strait accident, which occurred on December 15, 2024 with two tankers carrying fuel oil, on the functioning of the tourism sector in some regions of Russia, in particular on the tourist season of 2025 on the Azov-Black Sea coast. To understand the possible consequences of the emergency situation: the level of development of the tourist and recreational complex of the polluted zone in the Krasnodar Territory is characterized, including the economic indicators of its development.; The negative factors accompanying the emissions of fuel oil into the Black Sea and the coastal zone are indicated, including forecast estimates of the impact of the emergency situation on various components of the environment and human activity; the scale of cancellation of reservations for the 2025 holiday season is estimated. The article also provides quantitative data on the redistribution of the flow of tourists to other regions of Russia, including the Republic of Dagestan, the Republic of Crimea, the Kaliningrad Region and Altai, as well as abroad: Turkey, Egypt, Abkhazia. The various forecast estimates of the impact of the emergency on the 2025 Anapa holiday season, systematized in the article, allow us to assess the scale of the accident and the fact that the elimination of the consequences of the oil spill may take a long time, which in turn may lead to disruption of the holiday season. However, there are also opposing opinions. The recommendations developed and proposed by the author on minimizing the impact of the consequences of the emergency on the tourism sector of the Krasnodar Territory will help to preserve small businesses on the coast, as well as attract more tourists to its territory.
