In all our journals, each published article receives a Crossref DOI — a permanent identifier that allows the article to be found and cited correctly.

The article’s metadata is transmitted to the international Crossref infrastructure — the title, authors, affiliations, DOI, funding information, and other data become available to scientific services and search engines.

We commit to keeping the metadata up to date. If the information about the article, its status, or the URL changes, the corresponding data must be updated.

Corrections and retractions should not disappear without a trace. Crossref requires that DOIs be preserved and that readers be informed about changes in the publication status.
