TERRITORIAL'NAYA DIFFERENCIACIYA RAYONOV AMURSKOY OBLASTI PO UROVNYU SAMOOBESPECHENNOSTI PRODOVOL'STVIEM
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The relevance of this work is due to the territorial differentiation of the possibilities and scale of agricultural production in different regions of the country, which affects the uneven food security of the population. The article explores significant food imbalances in the population of the Amur region. As a method of assessing the level of food security in the region, a method of rating the level of self-sufficiency in basic foodstuffs was used. The practical significance of the methodology allowed to determine the place and level of areas in addressing the issue of food self-sufficiency in the region. As a result, changes were established in the indicators of lagging agricultural and food sectors, which require increased attention to building up their own production capacities for the development of domestic production as the main direction for maintaining sustainable self-sufficiency of the population of the region with food.

Keywords:
region, food security, food security doctrine, self-sufficiency index, actual consumption, normative consumption, self-sufficiency level, population, food, own production, territorial differentiation
